- Hardwired with AA Backup Batteries - operates on a 120-Volt AC wire with 2 AA alkaline batteries that provide battery backup coverage during power outages.
- Fast Alerts - upon sensing smoke or fire, an 85-decibel alarm sounds & a red LED will illuminate
- Dust Cover: Proprietary design helps keep construction and renovation dust out of the detector. Please keep dust cover on throughout the construction process.
- Simple Installation - Install with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket. Use Kidde Quick Connect Adapter (sold separately), Part 20-9003, to connect to existing Kidde wiring harnesses without having to re-wire.
- Comprehensively tested & certified to meet requirements of UL 217 10th Edition, and FCC standards. Includes a 10-year limited warranty.
